  • What is the RaxSki?

A ski for groomed piste and freeride with rear fins for direction control. Rear fins make the RaxSki behave like an ice skate on hard pack snow or like a surf-board in powder.

  • With what?

With guiding blades at the upwardly bent ski tail. You can ride just on this tail while raising the ski tip and such reducing the effective ski length - see the Principle of RaxSki

  • What is it good for?

For fast and easy turns on hard surface, your RaxSki behaves like an ice skate there. In powder you feel as if you had a surfboard under your feet. The guiding blades act like a rear fin - see The Skiing Technique

  • Can the RaxSki carve and glide like any other ski?

Sure, just shift your weight slightly forward and put your ski on the shaped edge or on the whole gliding surface such making the RaxSki "long" again.
